Microsoft Surface - The Possibilities

It seems to me that Microsoft has finally got their hands on some cool guys. This technology was shown at some point of 2006 in Cali's GeekBrief.tv
It looks pretty cool, but I can't say how quick this kind of technology will be adopted (and who will be the early adopters).
But if Microsoft need a beta tester, just leave a comment!

The Clone Wars Preview

Well, there is indeed a 3D Animation project cooking at Lucas' Ranch. It looks pretty good! I haven't see the first Clone Wars series (here in lovely France it's hard to see something like that on open TV) I think I'll go to my local used DVD dealer and I'll buy the first season and then I'll comment about that.
I think I saw the Toys at some "BD" Store...

Enjoy this preview and comment on it!

Star Wars Animated: Tales Of The New Republic - Trailer

And this is UnOfficial!? ZOMG! This animation looks incredible! Who are those guys behind this amazing work? I hope those guys at Lucas' Ranch will see this animation and won't send in their army of lawyers... after all, Star Wars is part of today's Culture and this is more than a homage!

Keep Up The Amazing Job!

Google Gears

wow!!
I'm downloading Google Gears and this means: Google Reader on the go! Well, that also mean that I can bring my 3Kg baby with me (and I'll even have a baby hernia!). This are great news for feed addicts like me and this will even free me up time in the mornings and I'll be able to read my feeds in the train on in the coffee shop (WIFI is NOT everywhere in France and there is no a single Starbucks in Lyon).

The download is taking ages and I think I'll have to wait until this afternoon to test it. Wish me luck!

Anna Netrebko: Musetta's Waltz

I can't sleep. I'm listening to Anna Netrebko and the only thing I can say: What a wonderful voice and what a beautiful woman.

Más guapa que Cualquiera (Joaquin Sabina / Fito Paez)

Se llamaba Soledad y estaba sola
como un puerto maltratado por las olas,
coleccionaba mariposas tristes,
Pero, esta vez, no iba de farol;
con su traje anacrónico y marchito;

REM End Of The World As We Know It (And I feel Fine).

That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes,
an aeroplane - Lenny Bruce is not afraid.
Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn,
world serves its own needs, dummy serve your own needs.
Feed it off an aux speak,, grunt, no, strength,
The ladder starts to clatter with fear fight down height.
Wire in a fire, representing seven games, a government for hire and a combat site.
Left of west and coming in a hurry with the furies breathing down your neck.
Team by team reporters baffled, trumped, tethered cropped.
Look at that low playing!
Fine, then.
Uh oh, overflow, population, common food, but it'll do.
Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed dummy with the rapture and the revered and the right - right.
You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, feeling pretty psyched.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.

Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign towers.
Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn.
Locking in, uniforming, book burning, blood letting.
Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate.
Light a candle, light a votive. Step down, step down.
Watch your heel crush, crushed. Uh-oh, this means no fear cavalier.
Renegade steer clear! A tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies.
Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives and I decline.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (It's time I had some time alone) and I feel fine.
(I feel fine)

It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (It's time I had some time alone) and I feel fine.

The other night I dreamt of knives, continental drift divide. Mountains sit in a line
Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Brezhnev. Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs.
Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom!
You symbiotic, patriotic, slam book neck, right? Right.

It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (It's time I had some time alone) and I feel fine.

It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it.
It's the end of the world as we know it (It's time I had some time alone) and I feel fine.

It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (It's time I had some time alone) and I feel fine.

It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it. (It's time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (It's time I had some time alone) and I feel fine...

The Scottish parliament elections 2007

Will Scotland leave the Union? The 2007 election will change the face of the UK?

Here is some quality coverage of the story:

Sigmund Freud

"Love and work are the cornerstones of our humanness."

Quote of the day

"If beer is liquid bread, Guinness is liquid cake."
-Naveen Kumar

Labour has checked the SNP tide

"What a shambles," Scots were murmuring as they woke this morning to discover that political anoraks, those who stayed up all night to discover whether or not the SNP's drive to power at Holyrood had succeeded, are little wiser about the result than they are after a good night's sleep.
