Coke + iTunes

This summer, Coca Cola has a wonderful campaign, they are giving away free songs on the iTunes Store (and maybe even some iPods). I've got two bottles of coke and got one winning code.
And I was willing to pick up a very special song, first I was looking for the GAP's TV Ad version of "Mellow Yellow", but I couldn't find it...
Finally I picked up the Top Hit Song of the 42th week of 1979 (yes, October 1979) and now I'm dancing with a great song!!

"Video Killed the Radio Star"

Enjoy your summer of the 2007!!

Daisy, our pet, our dog, my sister's baby, Goofy's mother, is no more...

She has ceased to be, bereft of life, she rests in peace, she has kicked the bucket, hopped the twig, bit the dust, snuffed it, breathed her last, and gone to meet the Great Supreme Dog in the sky, and I guess that we're all thinking how sad it is that a dog of such talent, such capability and kindness, of such intelligence should now be so suddenly spirited away at the age of only seventeen, before she'd achieved many of the things of which she was capable, and before she'd had enough fun.

She's gone. She is an ex-Daisy. All we have of her now is our memories. But it will be some time before they fade.

Farewell Daisy

My mom called me 10 minutes ago to tell me that they've taken the decision to put to sleep Daisy, our 17 years old Maltese Bitch.
I'm really going to miss her. But I know that it's the best thing we could give her. She has some kind of cancer and the veterinarian says it could have possible spread all over her body.
It's going to be hard, but today July 21th 2007 my dear and beloved Daisy will be no more...

Bond - The 1812

I was talking the other day with an American friends about this song... and he was so sure it was for the 1812 war between the USoA and the British... Can you belive it?

"Allons enfants de la patrie, le jour de gloire est arrivé..."

Speed Test

I'm coping my whole Music Library to my MacBook and as I cannot listen to Music (I'm too lazy to go to my bedroom and pick up one iPod) I'm still playing with those Speed Test Tools.

Here is the latest (NYC, USoA)

Paper: Almost Done...

Doing the other side

El problema del papel de fibra de vidrioThose "dark" lines will vanish when the painting will be done... just one question (I'll post more photos later). What colour should I pick for the small wall... I want something like a warm colour, orange or sand. What do you think?

Lazy Saturday Afternoon

I was on the phone with my lovely sister and mum and finally convinced them to go for an ADSL connexion.
We could finally use Skype and have nice video conferences (and even share some cooking time)

Here are the results of the speed test of my home ADSL2+ connexion... they could be better

Marseillaise et Internationale

« Mais ce n'est pas seulement sur la forme que porte la controverse ;
sillons !

Quote of the day

"Progress is made by lazy men looking for easier ways to do things."
- Robert A. Heinlein

The Ugly Camera

Here I'm, taking a pause between chopping wood, painting, breaking things, editing video and burning DVD... and what do I do with my free time? WHAT FREE TIME!? Every time I open my Google Reader I have the dramatic (100+) Items.
Today I came across two articles that are great for my way of life, the first a Potatoes Scrubber (I already emailed the right persons) and a great wonderful bad looking Digital Camera: And this is the ideal Camera for the lazy boy I'm!
This camera not only is ugly and covered of rubber, it's sand dust, water and dust proof! It has a 6MP CCD sensor chip and it only weights 230g!!

I know that somewhere out there in the world is willing to make me test this camera in real conditions, and I'll be glad to do it.

I will be blessed (Lisa Ekdahl)

What can I say? I love Lisa!!

Worst cephalalgia in your life?

I have been quite busy these last days and yesterday I came to a problem I had never had the chance to think about: How different File System interact? Well, I had to face it... the could possibly interact if there is an economical accord between the owners of the "licensed" file systems.

Now, here is a poll, feel free to comment.

Worst cephalalgia in your life?

  2. Copying from UDF to FAT32?
  3. Copying from FAT32 to HFS+?
  4. Copying from HFS+ to NTFS?
  5. Copying from HFS+ to NTFS via FTP?
